Allison Sorensen

A mother of five—four energetic boys and one vibrant girl, ages ranging up to twelve—She's embraced a journey marked by both joys and challenges. Navigating life with neurodivergent children has given her a deep well of compassion and perspective, as each of my kids brings a distinct personality and set of needs to our family. The early years were beautifully chaotic and overwhelming, especially as she contended with depression and anxiety, ultimately being diagnosed with OCP. While mental health continues to be a real part of her story, it has shaped her into a more empathetic and mindful parent. Slowing down, she's learned to savor the small joys alongside the inevitable struggles and sorrows, striving to foster a home where acceptance and understanding lead the way. She's passionate about sharing honest conversations around motherhood, mental health, and the reality of caring for children with diverse needs, in hopes that every parent feels seen and supported.
